The Euskadi Itzulia Women 2023 cycling tour starts from Eika.

On December 22nd, 1973, the act of constitution of the EIKA cooperative was signed. It was created with the aim of generating employment for women and young people in the Lea Artibai region, and since then it has continued to grow and expand.
Today it has 417 people, 202 of them women, at its headquarters in Etxebarria (Bizkaia), and has a production plants in Mexico.

Throughout the year, EIKA will celebrate its 50th anniversary, and to start celebrating this event, EIKA’s production plant has been chosen as the venue for the Itzulia Women 2023 to officially kick off the race, a World Tour women’s road cycling event featuring the best cyclists in the world.
